Laura Muir Targeting 3,000 Meters at British Indoor Championships After Already Winning 800 and 1,500-Meter TitlesBy Adam Kopet Laura Muir is targeting the one British Indoor Championship title she does not have, the 3,000 meters, in 2018, according to Eurosport. Muir won 800 and 1,500-meter golds at the British Indoor Championships in 2013. With her skipping the 2018 Commonwealth Games to finish veterinary school (as previously reported), Muir is primarily on a domestic indoor schedule that will culminate with the IAAF World Indoor Championships in March, held in Birmingham, England. A year ago, Muir won European Indoor titles at 1,500 and 3,000 meters. She went on to finish fourth in the 1,500 meters and sixth in the 5,000 meters at the IAAF World Outdoor Championships in London. Muir recently anchored Great Britain to the win in the 4x1-kilometer team relay at the Great Edinburgh XCountry International Challenge.
